Applicants should preferably have served an apprenticeship in the instrument field and be conversant with general instrumentation, particularly that associated with boilers and turbines. Rate of pay will be £31.53 for a 40 hour, 5 day week staggered over 7 days working one weekend in three.


Applicants should have served a recognised apprenticeship as mechanical fitters and will be required to work on a wide variety of plant, including high pressure


boilers and turbines.


Rate of pay will be £35.64 for an average 40 hour week working three shift five cycle pattern.


A productivity payment scheme is in operation at the Station which will give the opportunity to earn up to 331% extra on basic pay.
