GEIKO LEAMINGTON

Celebrating 25 years of beautiful hairdressing OUR TEAM

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Leamington Spa on prestigious Park Street you’ll find Geiko. A stunning Japanese-inspired hair salon that has held a prime position in the town for 25 years. Owner and Founder Paula McIntosh has always been passionate about creating a tranquil space for her customers, and to celebrate this milestone the salon has recently undergone a luxurious refurbishment.

Paula was one of the first ever L’Oréal Colour Specialist degree graduates and believes education is the key to the 25 year success of Geiko. Over the years she’s invested heavily in supporting many young people into hairdressing.

These younger team members have also helped develop the business, ensuring it stays current and continues to thrive for many years to come. Nurturing and maintaining a high level of skill across the whole team is what has enabled the salon to remain at the forefront of the industry for so long.

CREATING BEAUTIFUL HAIR

We choose our products carefully and are proud to be part of a select group of ambassadors in the UK for premium haircare brand Keune. These high-quality formulas are sustainably made, cruelty free and create beautiful results for our clients.

Our technicians use the most up-to-date colouring techniques and all continually attend the Keune Training Academy. We also have hair extension specialists all highly trained with Beauty Works. Our team today includes various levels of stylists and colourists so we have something to suit all needs and budgets.

“My aim was always to create something more than just a salon, I wanted a sanctuary where customers could truly relax and feel special. Geiko means ‘Women of Art’ in Japanese, and this really reflects the artistic approach to what we do and is at the heart of our ethos.”

SALON ETHOS

That ethos has been around since the early days of the salon. After starting her career at Toni & Guy, Paula broke away to create something that set the bar even higher. The goal has always been the same; to please customers, to consistently create great hair and to build a team of good people who love what they do.

At Geiko we strive to be at the forefront of excellence, creating beautiful hair for the individual. We provide a welcoming environment that aims to make people feel good about themselves, elevating the experience for every person that walks through our door.

HERITAGE AND VALUES

There aren’t many other salons in Leamington that have been around for two and a half decades and are still experiencing growth. We’ve achieved this by constantly going the extra mile, listening to what our customers want and building a team of like-minded staff passionate about customer care.

We’re incredibly proud of our loyal clientele, some of whom have been with us right from the start, and in 2024 we were thrilled to be named Best Hair Salon in England at the Englands Business Awards.

LIVE24-SEVEN.COM THE FUTURE

Even though we’ve hit the 25-year milestone, we’ve no intention of slowing down. We’re excited about the future and committed to keeping things fresh for our customers. We continue to grow but stay rooted to our ethos, never letting our standards drop and making sure we continue to deliver what we originally set out to do - providing passion and care for the individual and making your experience at Geiko truly special.

We can’t wait to welcome you!
