An unmissable experience for garden lovers! - Start the day with an exclusive tour of the garden of Brockhampton Cottage, led by owner Peter Clay, co-founder of the renowned online retailer Crocus. Next you travel the short distance to the stunning Laskett Gardens, where you will indulge in a delicious private dining experience crafted by a local caterer, accompanied by a glass of fizz. Following which you can tour the garden using the podcatchers and Garden Manager James Madge will be available to answer all your questions.


Immerse yourself in the four-acre garden that tells the story of Sir Roy Strong and his late wife Julia Trevelyan Oman’s marriage and creative lives through a series of captivating garden rooms. Marvel at the rose garden, pleached lime avenue, fountains, statuary, spectacular topiary, rich herbaceous and prairie-style borders, and the Belvedere offering a breathtaking view across the gardens.


After an afternoon exploring the gardens, tea will be served, completing this unforgettable day.

Herefordshire’s brand new family music festival, where fun and entertainment await at every turn returns this year. Get ready to elevate your festival experience with JamFest, the newest addition to the Sue Parry Festival lineup in aid of St Michaels Hospice who have teamed up with The Jam Factory to curate an unbeatable line-up of local musicians, promising you the best music, refreshing drinks, and festival vibes Hereford has to offer!


Live Music: Live music curated by Hereford City’s The Jam Factory management from 12pm. Covers and tribute acts from 5pm.


Entertainment: Megabounce Inflatables, carnival games and fairground rides. Face paint and glitter tent.


Food & Drink: Snack Shack refreshment, Westons Cider Bar, The Jam Factory Bar, BBQ and Coffee Bar


KINGTON WHEELBARROW RACE – KINGTON TOWN CENTRE


14 June 5:30PM to 9:00PM One of the highlights of Kington Festival, is the annual Wheelbarrow Race. This is now well established as fabulous entertainment. The speed event will once again be a separate race, with the fancy dress competition for best dressed barrow following after. This is the most fun sporting event of the year and the fastest pub-crawl in history!


Lots of fun and hilarity for everyone to see. Kington Fire-Fighters will conduct a blanket collection during the evening, so please remember to bring your loose change and show support for the festival.
