THE WEDDING OF LUCY GIBSON AND RICHARD CUPPLES
Lucy and Richard were married at the very picturesque Swallow’s Nest Barn in Sherbourne, near Warwick, last summer. The photos show a beautiful day with a stunning ceremony, an incredibly touching Blessing, a sumptuous choice of wedding breakfasts and first-class entertainment all set within the backdrop of a rustic, yet modern, wedding venue.
The midday wedding ceremony could not be marred by the UK’s Summer heatwave and the registrar coped with the 29 degrees temperatures very professionally. Lucy and Richard chose to have a wedding blessing following on from the ceremony. This blessing encapsulated their family’s Christian beliefs perfectly, presented by the bride’s sister and brother-in-law, and included live music and a most memorable audio montage of their children’s reflections on life and the wedding, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
The wedding breakfast gave guests the choice of Brixworth Pate or Camembert wedges to start, Pork belly or beef brisket for mains with a delightful trio of desserts to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.
Throughout the day, the talented Pete Hartley bewitched the congregation with his catalogue of violin music of wedding classics, modern favourites and even the occasional Disney song. The evening guests were in awe of the DJ, percussionist and Saxophonist trio who played into the twilight hours.
The venue provided many opportunities for gorgeous photos with amazing backdrops and a stunning spectrum of changing light throughout the day. A day that will live in the memories of all in attendance.
