WESTONS CIDER TO OPEN NEW TASTING ROOM AND SHOP AT MUCH MARCLE MILL
The UK’s leading authentic cider maker, Westons Cider, has announced the relocation of its shop alongside a brand-new tasting room at its historic mill in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle.
Opening its doors to the public on 3rd September, cider lovers are invited to explore behind-the-scenes tours and enjoy cider tastings as part of an expanded visitor experience.
Founded 144 years ago, Westons Cider has remained a cornerstone of the community, passed down through five generations of the Weston family. The expansion into a larger shop space, located just a minute’s walk from the original location, marks a significant milestone, allowing Westons to accommodate larger groups and customers.
Visitors can anticipate a range of expert tastings, including ‘Guess the Cider’ and ‘Tour Guide Special’, along with the exciting addition of a Saturday night tour and private hire availability. The new visitor centre is designed to be enjoyed by cider fans in the county, as well as enhancing tourism in the region. What’s more, the opening coincides with the Autumn harvest, which is one of the best times to visit the mill and see how the cider is made.
