Frome Valley Vineyard was established over three decades ago, one of the first of the “new wave” of English vineyards and one of the earliest in Herefordshire. Their delicious, award-winning wines feature what are now Heritage grape varieties including Bacchus, Reichensteiner and Madeleine Angevine.

Frome Valley Vineyard is set amongst Herefordshire’s hop yards and cider orchards, tucked into a curve of the River Frome just by Bromyard.
They are open for tours and tastings from April to September an experience not to be missed! The tours are normally taken by a member of the family and last a couple of hours. The tour starts in their model vineyard which demonstrates different forms of trellising, and they explain the why’s and wherefore’s of viticulture. In the main vineyard, you will learn about the successes and failures, and their experiments in making the vineyard as sustainable as possible.

Then it’s back to the winery to taste all the still and sparkling wines, the brandy and the ciders, and, of course, the opportunity to buy your favourites!
