SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, which is a measure of how well a sunscreen protects your skin from UVB (ultraviolet B) rays, which are the rays responsible for sunburn and can increase the risk of skin cancer. The higher the SPF number, the greater the protection.
WHEN SHOULD I USE SPF?
Sun protection shouldn’t be limited to hot summer days, beach trips and holidays. Daily use is important, even when indoors or on cloudy days, as UV rays can penetrate through windows and clouds. For the best protection, make sunscreen a daily habit in your skincare routine.
