Palmer students active in their communities

Doctors of Chiropractic are known for being active members of their communities, and Palmer students prepare to take on that role by being active in the Quad Cities and Port Orange communities. We’re proud of our students for making a positive impact!

Check out a few of the ways that Palmer students made a difference this year: • Palmer Rugby players volunteered for the Quad Cities Senior Olympics • Palmer Florida students hosted a beach cleanup • Multiple blood drives were hosted throughout the year

• Students collected and wrapped Christmas gifts for local families in coordination with the local YMCA and Toys for Tots

• Students hosted multiple supply drives, including a clothing drive for a local shelter, a toiletry drive for elementary school children, and a food drive.

Student life at Palmer

Student life at Palmer is designed to enrich the academic experience through networking and professional-development opportunities. Social events that build community also prepare them for success after graduation.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & NETWORKING

Students took part in events including the NFL Combine, Veterans Stand Down events, Spizz Night, the Chiropractic Association Road Trip, Clinical Research Seminar Series, ChiroDay at the Capitol, Palmer Center for Business Development events and more.

FOSTERING CAMPUS COMMUNITY

A strong sense of community is crucial to the college-student experience, and campus events where students can relax, have fun and make friends are key. Throughout the year Palmer students enjoyed events including:

• Ice Cream Socials • Club Fairs • Wassail Bowl • Student Holiday Dance • Experience Palmer + Meet the Quad Cities

FRIENDLY & FIERCE COMPETITIONS

Students, faculty and staff competed once again in the Palmer Games (Main Campus) and Student Olympics (Palmer Florida). Each offered a full day of activities such as cornhole, three-legged races, tug-of-war and more. Throughout the year, students also enjoy rugby and a variety of intramural sports.

In June 2025, Palmer’s Main Campus hosted ChiroGames. Students from chiropractic colleges across the country converged on campus for two days of athletic competition.
