Nate Hinkeldey, D.C. (`11) on why quality matters.
MY FAMILY AND I CHOOSE to support Palmer College of Chiropractic because, here at Palmer, quality matters in the journey to achieve academic excellence. Te institution provided a student experience that allowed me the humble privilege to care for others, assisting them in realizing and achieving their health goals. Innovations in teaching pedagogy, improvements in technology and learning spaces, and recruitment of additional faculty have combined to elevate the student experience and provide an unparalleled academic experience. Te accolades are no happy accident. My attachment to Palmer, like many of yours, began as a
student. Our faculty challenged us, pushing us to dig into the literature, ask questions, and ultimately strive to achieve more. Te process led to relationships and friendships that extended beyond graduation. It didn’t end there, however. My connection to the
College deepened as an alumnus. Conversations with faculty and students continually revealed innovative changes in the

curriculum and student experience (oſten leaving me jealous and yearning to repeat the program!). Ultimately, my appreciation for the strategy and direction of the institution grew upon my appointment to the Board of Trustees. As a member of the Board, I have seen firsthand the purposeful collaboration that happens with our Chancellor and his leadership team — a collaboration that has strategically positioned the Fountainhead as Te Trusted Leader in Chiropractic Education®. I’ve been an alumnus of Palmer for a little over 10 years now,
and with each year that passes, I come to understand more deeply that it’s our duty to ensure that the generations graduating now don’t forget where we’ve come from. And, it’s our duty to honor those who came before us by continuing to push for quality, for excellence, for inclusion and for integration. Palmer has achieved so much, and makes me Palmer Proud. And it can achieve so much more with the support of the
entire Palmer Nation. Palmer can count on my continued investment, and I hope we can count on you too.
