JOSHUA GIRARD, D.C. (`02) celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of his practice, Girard Chiropractic, in Clay Center, Kansas. Girard Chiropractic opened in April 2023.


CHRISTIAN SHERRILL, D.C. (`02) and HOLIDAE BARROW-SHERRILL, D.C. (`02) celebrated 20 years at their practice, Premier Chiropractic & Pilates, in Woodland, California.


RALF SCHURMANN, D.C. (`04) joined NorthLakes Community Clinic in Park Falls, Wisconsin, in October 2023. The clinic provides a variety of services and operates 19 clinics across 19 communities throughout 13 counties in Wisconsin.

CLIFTON CLENDENAN, D.C. (`75) celebrated his retirement in August 2023 after 47 years in practice. Dr. Clendenan opened his practice in Imlay City, Michigan in 1976.

GLENDA ROSE, D.C. (`81) was awarded the honorary status of “Doctor of the Future” at Ulan Nutritional Systems, Inc. Fall Symposium. Dr. Rose owns and practices at Rose Chiropractic, P.C., in Lewiston, New York.

DENNIS SHORT, D.C. (`01) was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) in September 2023. Along with his wife and fellow Palmer alumnae, Callie Garrison, D.C. (`01), Dr. Short owns and operates Bluegrass Chiro, the largest practice in Kentucky. Dr. Short


ERIC GEERS, D.C. (`09) opened Geers Family Chiropractic & Massage in Shelby Township, Michigan, in September 2023. Dr. Geers is joined by fellow Palmer alumni, Dillon Sibley, D.C. (`21) and Lew Squires, D.C. (`74). Dr. Geers and Dr. Sibley were both patients of Dr. Squires, a Fellow in the Palmer Academy of Chiropractic, and credit him for their decisions to become chiropractors.

MATTHEW WEIK, D.C. (`10) was elected president of the Delaware Chiropractic Society in 2023. Dr. Weik practices at Diamond Chiropractic in Wilmington, Delaware.


ALEXANDER BRINGMANN, D.C. (`16) was voted Best Chiropractor in Fuquay- Varina, North Carolina, two years in a row (2022/2023). Dr. Bringmann opened his own practice, Golden Spine Chiropractic, in Angier, North Carolina, in 2023.


MARIAH PAYNE, D.C. (`16) opened her new practice, Agape Family Chiropractic, in Munster, Indiana, in 2023.


MIKHAILA (WEISTER) RISKA, D.C. (`16), owner and founder of 920 Wellness Studio, opened her second location in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She opened her first location in Appleton, Wisconsin, following graduation in 2016. She is joined in practice by 2023 Palmer graduate Shea Horton, D.C.

GUY DAWALT, D.C. (`20) and SAMI DAWALT, D.C. (‘19) purchased Kirchman Chiropractic from fellow Palmer alumnus, Lance Kirchman, D.C. (`87). Kirchman Chiropractic is located in Luxemburg, Wisconsin.


SAM and EMILY (FAIR) GARDNER, D.C.’S (`20) practice, Gardner Chiropractic, was awarded the 2023 Family-Owned Business of the Year Award by the New York Small Business Development Center. Gardner Chiropractic is located in Olean, New York.


SHANE WEND, D.C. (`20) opened his first practice, Wend Wellness Chiropractic, in Stony Brook, New York, in January 2024.


ANNE HARRIS, D.C. (`22) opened her first practice, Better You Chiropractic & Dry Needling, in Wilmington, North Carolina.


KYLE MCGRANE, D.C. (`23) opened Wellness Within Chiropractic in his hometown of Manchester, Iowa, in 2023.


DYLAN ROTHMEYER, D.C. (`23) opened his clinic, Rothmeyer Chiropractic, in his hometown of Carroll, Iowa, in January 2024. Dr. Rothmeyer shares space with fellow Palmer alumnus Jason Pudenz, D.C. (`11).
