ONE QUESTION, THREE ANSWERS

What would you do with one extra hour each day?

NAHOMY VILLALOBOS-TELLO QUARTER 7, PALMER WEST

If I had an extra hour built into my day, I’d spend it being present with my friends and family. As school and my life get busier, I find it harder to spend time with the people I love and give them my full attention. It’s something I’m currently working on — being present in moments and giving them my full attention instead of focusing on the next thing coming or the next thing I’m going to do.

VINCENT CABARELLO QUARTER 5, PALMER FLORIDA

With an extra hour each day, I’d focus my energies on what I call restful productiveness. It’s an hour where I willingly detach myself from any responsibilities I have for the day. This mindful act alone allows me to ease my mind of worrying thoughts that might be clouding my thinking.

TIMOTHY AUGSPURGER 3RD TRIMESTER, PALMER MAIN

If I had an extra hour in my day, I would spend more time participating in my hobbies. Aside from attending classes and studying, it can be hard to set aside time to do the things I love. That’s why I would spend this hour playing the piano, playing the guitar, reading, baking or painting with my wife.
