Infrastructure and technology driving healthcare logistics Turkish Cargo’s pharma operations are supported by SMARTIST, its advanced cargo hub at Istanbul Airport. The Temperature Controlled Centre (TCC) at SMARTIST offers 4,518m² of multi-zone cold storage and is monitored through IoT- based systems to ensure real-time tracking of shipment conditions.
Under the SMARTIST 2.0 expansion project, cold chain capacity will be doubled, supported by AI-powered anomaly detection, dynamic load planning, and increased automation to optimise operational efficiency. These investments underscore Turkish Cargo’s commitment to combining infrastructure, digitalisation and operational expertise to support the global healthcare supply chain. ●
