‘It was our wish to meet the highest aesthetic demands while incorporating the specific needs of a barrier-free bathroom system. Our aim was to develop accessible bathroom products from a completely new perspective. Independent of the spirit of time and trends and at the same time, beyond anything known so far,’ says Christian Schwamkrug, design director for Studio F. A. Porsche. KEUCO AXESS is a sustainable and cross-generational concept made from high-quality materials it ensures a comfortable and safe use in all areas of the bathroom – not only for the elderly, those currently in need of care or for people with a physical disability, but for all generations. Te intelligent design details support independence and autonomy in the bathroom; so, all ages and abilities can benefit from comfort-enhancing functions.

A bathroom without barriers that is comfortable, future-oriented and, thanks to the unique design of KEUCO AXESS, Design by Studio F. A. Porsche, is extremely attractive. It helps to create bathrooms for people of all ages and for all life situations. More and more building owners in the project sector, architects, and planners along with private individuals opt for barrier-free solutions when deciding to renovate or refurbish. It is all in the details. For example, the folding support rail, differs from folding support rails designs, visually appealing it is unique as it stands flat against the wall when folded up. When unfolded and exposed in the downward position, the KEUCO AXESS support rail is a beautiful and elegant solution. Te rail system and the grab provide support and safety in the shower and bath, at the washbasin and WC. Te wall fixings are unobtrusive while ensuring sufficient stability for a barrier-free solution. In the shower, the rail system can be flexibly adapted. All the products in the series are available in three finishes: chrome, matt black or aluminium-chrome; there is an optional and retrofittable toilet paper holder which has a black or white roller stopper enabling it to colour match the design. keuco.com
