119 by Thonet Designed by Sebastian Herkner, the 119 follows on from the 118, designed for Thonet in 2018. A bentwood frame encloses the seat of the 119, just as the 118 collection, and each is available in a canework or a moulded plywood seat. Herkner has also designed a loose seat cushion for the lounge chair, available on request. The chair comes in the same stain colours and high-gloss lacquers of the 118 collection. thonet.de/en

Pax by David Rockwell and Tecno Design Center Tecno introduces Pax, the new cocoon-effect armchair consisting of a tubular metallic basket frame covered by a soft upholstered shell. Inspired by the Ball Chair designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963, Pax reinterprets the design, modernising it for the digital age. With cushions for the neck, back and seat, users can find a comfortable position for greater support or to relax. milliken.com

10 A-Frame Demountable by Jennifer Newman Suitable for all-year outdoor use, this table is made from non-rust recycled aluminium, making it low- maintenance and can withstand tough conditions. Visually, it takes on the classic picnic silhouette with the design’s flush top and seats finished with rounded edges and corners, providing a contemporary clean shape. It can be demounted for ease of access through narrow spaces. jennifernewman.com
