EDUCATION SPOTLIGHT: SHORT COURSE – 11 June RETC 2023 is offering a short course on the use of shotcrete in tunneling. The one-day course is during the weekend, on Sunday 11 June, immediately prior to the start of the main conference and exhibition that fills the following three days. The ‘Shotcrete in Underground Construction’ course runs
over the full day in a packed program of talks. RETC says it is designed to provide a solid understanding of shotcrete for ground support in tunnels. It adds that the short course is intended for industry professional including owners, engineering students, designers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers involved in the planning, design and construction of underground projects. Planned talks are to the following topics, with attached speakers listed. The listed order is per the latest schedule:
