Germany-based Chainmaster is a
manufacturer of hoist products in the event industry that also provides services from planning through to implementation and user training. To date, the company claims that approximately 125,000 of its electric chain hoists are in use, while it exports to 55 countries. PSI was established to raise and
develop the standard of production within the performing arts and entertainment sectors in Ireland. Since then, it has provided technical solutions that meet demand within the corporate, arts and entertainment industries for high-quality events delivery. The company claims to hold Ireland’s largest stock of professional lighting equipment for hire or sale.
INVERTEK DRIVES TO CREATE 250 NEW JOBS OVER NEXT FIVE YEARS

t least 250 new jobs are anticipated to be created over the next five years by Invertek Drives at its global
headquarters and manufacturing facility in the UK, the company has announced. The roles will be in its innovation team,
production, and other business areas of the company as it continues to invest in the design and production of its energy- saving variable frequency drives (VFDs) used to control electric motors. It will also expand the development of
careers through its college and graduate training programmes. The company’s Optidrive variable
frequency drives are used globally to control electric motors. The company’s Optidrive P2, for instance, is used in hoist applications.
The announcement comes after the company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, revealed 45% year-on-year sales growth in 2022, with a turnover total of £76.3m. Earlier this year, Invertek announced
plans to build a new Innovation Centre and HQ adjacent to its site at Welshpool, Powys, which is planned to be completed in early 2025, having acquired the land from the Welsh Government. It will develop next-generation electric
