ADVERTISING REGULATIONS
We have issued guidance to our members previously highlighting the advertising
regulations for medicines in the UK (including online and via social media). This issue is also covered in our Knowledge Article: Prescribing and supplying weight management medicines, where we address, more
specifically, advertising GLP-1 and weight management prescribing services online.
NEW INJECTION EQUIPMENT SUPPLY SOP
We have provided a new Community Pharmacy Injecting Equipment Provision Service (Scotland) template SOP. The SOP can be amended to individual NHS Board’s service level agreements.
NPA Board meeting in Edinburgh in September
The NPA Board is holding their September meeting in Edinburgh this year. Board topics will include Scottish specific sessions where the Board Directors will have discussions with Scottish pharmacy stakeholders and a cross-section of invited members. NPA chairman Olivier Picard will host a dinner in the evening where the Board will be joined by many Scottish members.
