Scottish Pharmacies reached fever pitch when the national side played in their first World Cup for 28 years. Community pharmacy teams rallied behind players during the opening round. And while the team may not have made it past the knock out stages, they could be left in no doubt they had some of the best supporters in the world with everyday healthcare spaces transformed into unexpected pockets of national support. From decorated dispensary windows to staff wearing Scotland colours and kits, pharmacies brought the tournament into high streets and health centres.
