Members representing a third of the Scottish NPA member pharmacies met in Falkirk, where they heard from the Director of Operations for Community Pharmacy Scotland, Matt Barclay, about the negotiations with Scottish Government.
Gareth Jones, NPA Director of Corporate Affairs and Helga Mangion, NPA Policy Manager provided updates and gathered feedback on the expected impact of Hub and Spoke and Pharmacy Supervision regulation changes. Sponsored by Scottish based buying group Edinpharm, the event ran in tandem with the first Scottish Pharmacy Trade Show.

The Patient Safety Incident Reporting Platform for Scottish members facilitates confidential and systematic review of prescribing and dispensing issues to enable your team to identify mitigating factors - and design system improvements to reduce patient safety risk within your pharmacy.
Through the anonymous collation of the incidents and their causes within the NPA Scottish member safety report, pharmacy teams can share learnings to implement quality improvement measures.
