RCBO Types


Type A: Ensures tripping for residual AC currents and pulsating DC currents. Where loads produce DC currents such as electric vehicle chargers and washing machines.


Type F: Ensures tripping for residual AC currents and pulsating DC currents for frequency controlled appliances and equipment, such as washing machines, tumble driers with synchronous motors, dishwashers and air conditioning controllers with variable speed drives.
