To complement this work, PFEW launched the latest edition of its POLICE podcast featuring Paul Turpin, Senior Policy Advisor (Pension) and National Board member Melanie Warnes. In this podcast, they tackle some of the most frequently asked questions and go into the details of all three prevailing police pension schemes busting a few myths along the way.

PFEW Acting National Chair Tiff Lynch said: “Podcasts are an ideal way to discuss in detail various topic. They are easy to access and listen to and with most homes having smart speakers they can even be played in the background while doing other chores. We plan to expand our podcast library in order to create a useful resource and also dive deeper into some of the topics covered by this magazine.”
