LOOKING AHEAD

The Learning Society — The Learning Society welcomes a distinguished lineup of speakers for its upcoming season, including David Brooks, New York Times columnist, and Dr. Abraham Verghese, a prominent voice in medicine with a uniquely humanistic view of the future of healthcare.

Arts at Queens— Arts at Queens kicks off its season with “Makin’ Cake,” featuring poet Dasha Kelly Hamilton and an exploration of race, culture and class through the history of baking. Other shows will feature an exciting array of musicians and performers. Member contributions lead the way for acclaimed performers and artists to come to Queens, and their ongoing support enhances student learning and exposure to the impactful performing and visual arts opportunities on our campus. Women Leaders Program — The McColl School of Business is leading several new efforts, including launching its new McColl MBA Program. In addition, the inaugural Women Leaders Program aims to foster the next generation of leaders across its graduate programs. More than $200,000 has been raised to date. The program is backed by alumni, community leaders, and individual donors, including recipients of Queens University's Charlote BusinessWoman of the Year award, which celebrates women executives in the greater Charlote area.

One Royal Weekend — For the first time, Queens will combine Homecoming and Reunion festivities into one exciting “Royal Weekend.” Whether you’re a current Queens student, a proud alum, or a basketball fan, you’re invited to a jam-packed weekend of events. Bring your loved ones to cheer on our student-athletes and celebrate what makes Queens special. For alumni, this weekend will feature special reunion celebrations, award ceremonies, and opportunities to reconnect and reminisce while supporting your alma mater.
