The World Series has now reached the play-offs and MILWAUKEE BREWERS cannot be ignored as they are the most in form team among the 12 left standing. As No. 1 seeds in the powerful National League, they will enjoy significant benefits over their rivals (a bye and HFA) and will likely meet the ante-post favourites and current champions, the LA Dodgers, in the Conference final, and at a massive 7/1 simply can’t be ignored.
Now that the American Football season is under way, although only 3 rounds in of 17, you can already discount some teams from post season action, more in a Thanksgiving half-term school report, but fans of the Chargers, the Jets and Tampa Bay should not be too optimistic, but as I said, more when we eat the turkey.

back the sport’s ultimate crown. At 4/7, this might seem more skimpy than a Twiggy minidress, but that’s the price, so fill your boots before that one goes, (price at time of writing, prior to the semis).
EFL CUP
And so to nearer home. The EFL/Carabao/League Cup has reached the last 16 stage and with three rounds still to go before Wembley, the elite teams are re-evaluating their priorities. Whilst Arsenal don’t need to worry about progressing to the quarters (away at Fleetwood), only one of Liverpool and Chelsea can progress and equally the same is true about Man City and Brighton.
I have no doubt City will continue with wholesale changes from their first choice squad , but at a massive 20/1, even 25/1 in a place, BRIGHTON will not, and a tentative and sporting wager is justified plus Tony Bloom has that winning touch. They certainly are the form horse in the Cup .

My last column eschewed the merits of Maltese Cross, and I hope my fans have backed the horse at a tempting 8/1. Since then, we have had the three established Arc trials: the Vermeille, Foy and Niel, and I was immensely impressed with DARYZ for The Aga (daughter). Unless he is handed a bad draw, outside on the wing, I genuinely feel Daryz is the one to beat and a saver, or indeed a chunk for new money at 2/1 is a must.
