Just Giving page reopens as Murrills House renovations commence
Following the recent acquisition of Murrills House, the renovations are already well underway. Scaffolding appeared last week to the side of the building as can be seen and work to make improvements to the roof is now taking place. This is the first part of the essential work. New windows will be fitted later this year, but this element of work is subject to obtaining planning permission from the local authority.
Details of the full scope of work to be undertaken have been published today in The Report Magazine September edition.
Over the last year, as part of the Institute’s ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign, a number of members have made donations towards the cost of the Murrills House renovations. A small plaque of recognition for each of these members will be placed on the Board Room wall and work has started on that project. The Institute is incredibly grateful to those who have been generous in their support. Since that campaign ended, a number of members have subsequently asked if they can still donate. So, IIMS has reopened a JustGiving page at
https://bit.ly/2X4Cu9x which will remain live until the end of December 2020.
