OFID approves more than US$303m of development finance


OFID has approved more than US$303 million of new funding to benefit developing countries across the globe. The 166th Session of OFID’s Governing Board approved the funding at the organization’s Vienna Headquarters. Approved public sector loans, which total US$225 million, will support projects in Honduras, Madagascar, Maldives, Senegal, Suriname and Uzbekistan. A grant of US$300,000 was also approved, as well as US$80 million under OFID’s private sector facility.
