Abby-Lea Clarke , from Asda Nor thwich Branch visi ted Stapeley recent ly to present a £200 cheque
"At Asda Barons Quay we love get t ing involved wi th the communi ty and helping local char i t ies in any way we can. Thanks to the Green Token program that the Asda Foundat ion provide, I had the pr ivi lege of present ing a cheque for £200 to the Stapeley Grange W i ldl i fe centre.
I was grateful to have had a tour and to see where al l funds donated get put to use.
The team at Stapeley Grange do an amazing job and I look forward to helping in any way I can in the future...W el l done to al l the team!!"
Sainsbury's 'Local Heroes' encourages their employees to apply for £200 donat ions for their chosen Char i ty. So far , the programme has donated over £2 mi l l ion to wor thy causes which is incredible.

Branch, has been a volunteer at the wi ldl i fe hospi tal since 2017; Amy is one of many volunteers that suppor ts the Stapeley team.
The team would l ike to thank Amy for not only a t ime as a volunteer but also in ar ranging the £200
donat ion through the 'Local Heroes' programme. Ear l ier this year our educat ion team organised a chi ldren's gardening day in the wi ldl i fe garden. The chi ldren loved get t ing their hands dir ty. The day was widely suppor ted by local businesses - Sue from Br idgemere, a W yevale Garden Centre, ar ranged donat ions of tools from ToolsforChange, Rachel from Mor r isons Nantwich donated seeds and pots and Minshul l 's Garden Centre fdonated plants.
