Anniversary Time for STAPELEY GRANGE!
2 November 2019 was a very special one-of f event , a Masquerade Ball, to celebrate 25 years of Stapeley Grange helping animals in need.
Cynthia Zur Nedden's legacy at Stapeley has grown into one of the, if not the, busiest wildlife centres in the country. In more recent years the Centre has been admit t ing, on average, around 6,500 animals each year. Since the Centre opened in 1994 the team has received over 130,000 animals.
The Centre's remit has and will cont inue to be the rehoming of domest ic and exot ic animals to loving forever homes and to return injured, sick and orphaned wildlife casualt ies to the wild, where nature intended. It has also become an important regional educat ional facility and a training center for wildlife rehabilitators, vets and vet nurses f rom around the country.
Over 150 people, including the Executor to Cynthia's Estate (John Parkin) and some of Cynthia's family f rom Germany (Peter, Cornelia and Johann Zur Nedden) enjoyed a fantast ic evening, one that will be remembered for many years to come.
The event was supported by our Plat inum Sponsor Inst inct Wellness (Tarporely) (
