The Grey House School is a well-established independent school for boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 11 in Hartley Wintney. With the opening of our Nursery at West Green children aged 2 ½ to 4 are able to start their journey with us, guided by experienced staff.

With small class sizes, children acquire the key skills of reading, writing and numeracy in a supportive and stimulating environment. Our younger children read with a member of staff, every day, using a well-developed synthetic phonics programme. A child’s creativity and imagination are captured through a wide and varied curriculum, with many subjects, including both French and Spanish, taught by specialist staff. Physical development plays an important part in the curriculum with children swimming weekly, all year round. There are many opportunities for sport, including all team games, gymnastics, judo, fencing and shooting to name but a few.

We have a strong tradition of public performance in both music and drama with annual musicals and concerts playing an important part of the school year. We are proud of our academic standards which see children gaining entry to a wide range of secondary schools when they leave us after Year 6. We believe in traditional values where children learn respect, courtesy and tolerance.

I would love to show you round so you can see the school at work and meet the teachers and pupils. Please contact us via email or phone: schooloffice@grey-house.co.uk 01252 842353.
