Rachann, a midwest farmer’s daughter, earned her B.S. Degree in Micro- biology from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, along with a minor in Medical History. She has extensive post-graduate work in Microbiolo- gy & Immunology at Pennsylvania State University, School of Medicine, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Secondary Teaching Education at Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA. Rachann and her family live on a farm with an updated boarding kennel that is the fi rst eco-friendly, dog kennel, day camp and grooming facility in Maryland. Rachann enjoys telling a good story and fi nding the connections that unite us.
