Full-time live-in groom/assistant mgr at Eventing/Foxhunting barn. Poolesville, MD. Mornings: Feeding, Cleaning & bedding stalls, sweeping, dumping spreader. Afternoons: Grooming, tacking/untacking, bathing, mane pulling,body clipping, & some riding/hacking. Must have experience grooming. Salary: $18K + housing to start. Paid week vacation after 6 mo. Upper Marlboro, MD - Seeking a mature, friendly & skilled instructor for our horse boarding facility. We have a wonderful indoor arena and a cross country trail w/plenty of jumps. We currently have a family of 25 boarders comprised of a diverse mix of ages, goals, disciplines & skill levels. Some of our boarders participate in local non-rated shows (BEST) & some ride strictly for pleasure. We are open to discussing a lesson program in addition to training our in-house clients for the right trainer. All candidates must have their own insurance.
