Calling all PONY owners! Photo:K.Davis
The University of Maryland is in search of 16 ponies for their novel studies evaluating turfgrasses for use on horse farms beginning May 2017
Ponies will be free leased from owners and given excellent care with veterinary oversight. All studies are non-invasive. Ponies will be turned out on pasture. By volunteering your pony, you will help us learn more about how to safely manage grazing ponies and help our students earn graduate degrees.
If you own a pony that is a gelding, between the age of 5 and 15, in moderate body condition with no cresty neck, and has no history of laminitis or insulin resistance…
WE NEED YOU!
To enroll your pony, contact Dr. Amy Burk at
amyburk@umd.edu.
