A good quality cabling system requires sufficient cable management. We advise 1U of patch cord management for every 48 patch panel ports. Consideration should be given to the; • Performance of the cabling system • Diameter and flexibility of the patch leads • Number of patch leads to be managed


In environments with forced air cooling the management of airflow is important as leakage of air is inefficient and costly. Ultima blanking and brush strip panels help to blank off unused portions of rack space whilst, at the same time, providing adequate routes for cables from the front to the rear of the rack or cabinet.


Ultima POD boxes are suitable for under floor or under desk applications. These rugged, versatile units enable cabling to be installed in open plan areas where there is a high churn of personnel or a frequent re-organising of the office space.


Floor matting can provide a cost effective solution for sub floor cable routes where cables must be protected from the concrete slab and the potential risk of lying in standing water.


Basket matting protects cables running on baskets or trays from sharp edges and potential long term wear.
