ou’ll recognise The AA from its heavy presence on the UK’s roads. Aſt er all, the UK’s largest motor organisation has been helping UK drivers for over 100
years. But did you know The AA can also provide assistance when you’re abroad? If you purchase European Breakdown Cover (EBC), you can get the same peace of mind enjoyed by UK members, in France, Spain, Germany or another European country. The AA’s EBC ensures driving in Europe
is never a worry – if your vehicle breaks down, they’ll help you. EBC gives you access to over 60,000 repairers and recovery operators in 40 countries across Europe. It has a 24/7 English-speaking helpline and the cover has been awarded 5 stars by Defaqto. There are many benefi ts to extending your
breakdown cover beyond home soil: you’ll be covered from the moment you leave home to the moment you get back, whether you’re driving in France or one of up to 40 countries across the continent. They’ll cover vehicles of any age and that doesn’t
just include cars but also vans, motorcycles, campervans and caravans. Cover also includes towing if required. On average, customers have saved around £900 in repair and recovery costs. If your breakdown means you need alternative accommodation and travel arrangements then relax, that’s covered too! EBC will also cover repatriation of your vehicle, as long as the cost does not exceed current market value, and also up to £50,000 in legal costs. You can purchase single-trip or annual
multi-trip cover, but if you’re planning on making at least two trips to Europe within a 12-month period then it might be more benefi cial to consider an annual policy. This provides cover for unlimited trips abroad (up to 364 days in length) and up to three claims a year. If you’re already an AA Member you’ll qualify for 10% off , meaning you can get covered from as little as £4.63 a day*. Cover must be in place before you travel. You’ll get a confi rmation email with your policy number aſt er you buy – so you can travel worry free.
