• LSO (nstitut Linguistique de Saint-Omer) is a small family-run structure that has been hosting week and weekend homestays for adults since 2014.
• n 2022, LSO will expand its oerings and propose intensive GCSE, AS, A-Level, Leaving Cert, preparation courses during half terms. his one-week total immersion programme includes 25 hours of tuition, daily cultural and social activities.
• Our courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and focus on oral communication.
• Cultural visits: Saint-Omer boasts a very rich historical patrimony that we look forward to sharing with our students.
• Saint-Omer is only 45 minutes from the ferries and Eurotunnel. he regional capital, Lille, is only a 45-minute train ride away while the beaches of Cte d’Opale and the memorials and museums of the 1st and 2nd orld ars in pres, Arras and imy are less than an hour away.
ILSO was founded and is directed by Annie rgout, who holds a Ph.D in French literature and cinema (niversity of Colorado, oulder, SA) and an A in French as a Foreign Language (niversit Paul alry, ontpellier, France). She has an extensive teaching experience, having taught French in reland, the nited States, England and now France.
