ADVANCED LEARNER LOAN


If you’re over 19, you could be eligible for help towards the cost of your course.


Advanced Learner Loans can be applied for and used to pay the full or partial amount of the tuition fees.


There is no credit check involved and your household income does not hinder your ability to apply. You won’t pay a penny back until you earn more than £25,000 p.a. and any outstanding balance will be written off after 30 years.


If your loan is for an Access to Higher Education course and you subsequently go on to complete a degree, then you won’t have to pay back your Advanced Learner Loan.


2018-19 sees the introduction of a Careers Learning Pilot offering some courses (marked
