Want to be employed, or progress into more sustainable employment, if earning less than 16 times the appropriate age-related rate of the national minimum wage/national living wage a week, or £338 a month (individual claims) or £541 a month (household claims)*** and the learning is directly relevant to their employment prospects and the local labour market needs.
iii. You will be required to sign a self-declaration.
Help with payment If you don’t qualify for one of the free categories as mentioned, or meet the criteria for the Advanced Learner Loan, then the fee shown is only approximately 50% of the total cost as the remaining 50% is funded by the Government. If the course fee is above £250 you can pay it to the college in instalments. There may also be additional help for you if you are in receipt of a low household income but do not meet the above criteria. You can also take out a Career Development Loan for a part-time or full-time vocational course. Please contact the Advice and Guidance Centre on 01271 852422 for more details. Students from outside the EEA/EU countries might be expected to pay overseas rates.
Payment
To guarantee your enrolment, please make sure you have your means of payment(s); cash, cheque, credit/debit card; your National Insurance number; correct remission evidence and Agreement to Pay Form (if applicable) with you.
Please note:
Fees payable to examining boards must be paid with the course fee at the time of enrolment. For those who qualify to study certificated provision for free, these fees normally qualify for remission.
Supplementary fees include additional costs which will normally qualify for remission for those who qualify to study certificated provision for free, please enquire before enrolling.
Students under 16 years old as of 31 August 2018 (i.e. compulsory school age) should be aware that additional charges and conditions apply - please ask for details.
Some of the fees shown are the amount per annum and the amount may increase in the second year.
Refunds
The college has a policy for course refunds, please ask for details at enrolment.
Hearing impairment Both fixed and portable loop systems are available to assist those who wear a hearing aid.

Please let us know if you require written materials to be presented in other formats, including large print, electronically or in audio, and we will do our best to provide what you need.
