The redesigned Tech-1 T off ers the driver optimum levels of comfort, fi t and feel. Featuring a durable bovine leather and suede construction with a suede collar, the shoe boasts a cut away section at the heel to allow movement while operating the pedals with no pressure points while driving. Every aspect of the shoe has been carefully considered to keep weight as low as possible without compromising robustness; the Velcro strap is a single layer for added lightness, while also ensuring there is no pressure point on the instep, and the classic lace closure system features hidden loops on the lateral and medial to guarantee a snug but unrestrictive fi t. The all-new rubber sole, which mimics an asymmetric tire tread, is water repelling and oil resistant to off er high levels of grip and is thicker for enhanced levels of comfort in and out of the car, while the mid sole off ers reassuring levels of cushioning. Other neat touches include an outer toe protector for comfort and durability, and a Nomex® lining to protect the entire foot against heat, while strategically placed perforation areas provide enhanced ventilation, aiding driver comfort and reducing fatigue.

The latest Alpinestars SP boot is an evolution of the previous model, using technology and data derived from Alpinestars’ experience from Formula 1. Designed to meet the latest FIA 8856-2000 homologation standards, and to off er optimised comfort and performance, the boot now features an assymetrical lacing system, while laser perforations enhance breathability and driver comfort. The para-aramidic fi ber tubular lining construction ensures excellent heat resistance, weight saving and strength. Lightweight micro-porous padding at heel and insole enhances comfort. Exclusive lightweight rubber compound sole with line textured grip off ers improved pedal feel. Logos and graphics are embroidered. Much like the rest of the Alpinestars range, the SP delivers a fantastic combination of value, quality and comfort.

Designed as a co-drivers shoe or to provide a mechanic with a suitable boot for professional pit crews, the Alpinestars Radar boot design is unique and complies with FIA 8856-2000 homologation standards. Constructed primarily from Nomex, using leather in the main upper, the boot provides optimum levels of comfort and practicality coupled with uncompromised safety. A low cut collar along with ankle support aid user fl exibility, while strategically placed perforated zones aid breathability. Designed with greater durability and comfort in mind for tougher environments, this is provided through the use of an ergonomic heel construction, along with a Nitrile rubber derived collar padding, which in turn delivers enhanced weight saving.
