Cultural Coast DAY 1 -Welcome to Ventura


Ventura is a vibrant seaside town offering with a laid- back feel and an unexpected allure for travellers to experience the Southern California Pacific Coast. Once you’ve arrived in Ventura make sure you take a walk along the harbour. This is also a perfect spot for an evening meal with nautical restaurants overlooking the harbour lights such as the Rhumb Line, serving an array of special steak and seafood dishes.

DAY 2


-Explore the Channel Islands National Park -Sea cave kayaking, picnic lunch, and hike with cliffside ocean views


The Channel Islands National Park encompasses five remarkable islands and their ocean environment. Take an early ferry from Ventura over to the largest of the islands; Santa Cruz Island. Here you can explore the vast sea caves by kayak before stopping for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon take a hike and explore the island, soaking in the glorious sea views from the clifftops.

DAY 3


-Coastal Bike ride along the Ventura coastline -Exploring culture, food and wine in Solvang


Cycle next to the scenic Ventura coastline before stopping at the Cliff House Inn for an al fresco brunch. Then, make your next stop Solvang. The village is known for its Danish style architecture and many wineries. Take a village walkabout, visit the Vintage Motorcycle Museum and enjoy happy hour at a windmill. Treat yourself to a spectacular four course tasting menu with paired wines at the renowned First & Oak restaurant.
