emenos has appointed Emily Steele as president in North America, effective immediately.
Steele previously served as Temenos’ COO in the region. In her new role, she will be responsible for the region’s P&L and lead the company’s North America field revenue and go-to-market efforts. Steele reports to Jean-Michel Hilsenkopf, Temenos chief revenue officer and member of the executive committee. She succeeds Jay Mossman, who will continue with Temenos in a strategic advisory role.
Steele has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. As COO of Temenos in North America, Steele oversaw all day-to-day business operations for several divisions and market segments, including customer management, delivery, software development and compliance. She also spearheaded the sales organisation for the Lifecycle software product. Steele joined Temenos in 2015 by way of the company’s acquisition of Akcelerant, where she was president since 2012.
AxiomSL, the provider of regulatory reporting, risk and data management solutions, has announced the appointment of Roger Worthington as head of production operations. In this role, Worthington is responsible for leading AxiomSL’s newly-created production operations team overseeing the live- service support for AxiomSL’s Software- as-a-Service capability. He will be based in Singapore and will report to Peter Tierney, APAC CEO AxiomSL.
Worthington brings more than 20 years’ experience in building and managing shared infrastructure, including networks and data centres, at fi nancial institutions. Most recently, he served as the head of Asia Pacifi c operations at Pico, a

Cobalt, the foreign exchange (FX) pre and post-trade processing network, has welcomed FX industry veteran Darren Coote as a strategic advisor and investor. Coote brings over 25 years’ experience in FX, having held a number of high-profi le roles running global FX trading and e-FX businesses at UBS and Lloyds. He has also served on a number of FX boards and committees including the Bank of England’s FX Joint Standing Committee and EBS’s executive board prior to the company’s sale to ICAP in 2006.

Financial services compliance consultancy, fscom, has appointed Karen Vickers as its new head of fi nancial crime. In her new role, Vickers will be responsible for managing the company’s rapidly growing client base, advising them on how to meet their legal and regulatory obligations in respect of fi nancial crime.
Prior to joining fscom, Vickers held a regulated controlled function role with the Central Bank of Ireland as a senior manager within Ulster Bank’s fi nancial crime team, where she was responsible for second line of defence oversight and monitoring of all outsourced regulatory activity in relation to anti-money laundering, sanctions, counter terrorist fi nancing and anti-bribery and corruption.
TSYS has announced Kelley Knutson has been appointed senior executive vice president of TSYS and president of Netspend, a provider of prepaid debit cards for personal and commercial use. Knutson will report directly to Troy Woods, chairman, president and CEO of TSYS.
