& Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, has appointed Matthew Stauffer as Managing Director and head of Institutional Trade Processing, effective June 30, 2017. In this role, Mr. Stauffer

will be responsible for integrating DTCC’s middle office trade processing solutions, including the Omgeo suite of solutions, Trade Support Services (TSS) and the GMEI Utility, as well as leading new product development.
Mr. Stauffer previously served as CEO of Clarient Global, LLC, a partnership DTCC launched in 2014 with six founder banks to provide centralized services for all client data and documents needed to satisfy internal Know Your Customer (KYC) broader related regulatory requirements. DTCC sold the business to Thomson Reuters earlier this year. Prior to that, Mr. Stauffer was the Managing Director of Strategy & Business Development and has held senior roles within DTCC’s Operations, Technology and Product organizations and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Before joining DTCC, Mr. Stauffer was a management consultant in Accenture’s Financial Services practice.

David holds a number of non-executive and advisory board positions and is currently Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for CIBC World Markets plc. He was previously

Independent Non-Executive Director for Fullerton Health in
Singapore. Prior to this, he was European CFO for Morgan Stanley, Chief Executive of Morgan Stanley Bank International and a member of its European Management Committee. Before joining Morgan Stanley, David was International Treasurer and European head of the Global Banking Group for Goldman Sachs.
Nigel possesses significant executive-level experience within financial services, having spent some 38 years at HSBC Group. He has held a number of senior roles in the UK, Europe and North America within corporate and commercial banking, credit risk, operational risk, retail banking and wealth management. Between 2012 and
2015 he was the National Head of Corporate Banking for HSBC Canada. Nigel’s appointment as Non-Executive Director and intended Chairman of the Bank’s Risk Committee, will be subject to obtaining regulatory approval.
State Street Corporation has appointed David Pagliaro to the role of head of State Street Global Exchange for Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Pagliaro will report to John Plansky, global head of State Street Global Exchange and Liz Nolan, co-head of Global Services for EMEA. Pagliaro has nearly two decades of professional experience in financial services. Prior to joining State Street, he most recently worked for S&P Capital IQ for nine years. During this time, he held a number of roles, most recently global head of S&P credit solutions, where he managed a number of responsibilities including the commercialisation of research, data and analytics across the Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA.
RCI Bank has appointed Gustav Wagner as Head of Savings. Based at RCI Bank’s head office in Watford, Wagner will look after all savings products, while ensuring the bank maintains its high standards of customer service. He will be working closely with the senior management team and will report into Chief Financial Officer, Peter McEvoy.
