4: REMOVE THE BAIL FROM YOUR


1: SECURE YOUR SILVER DISCS Place the Sterling Silver discs on the metal block. You might wish to secure your blanks to your metal block using double sided tape or masking tape.

SNOWFLAKE Take the ready-made snowflake pendant and cut the top bail off using tin snips or side cutter pliers. Remove the bail completely.

2: STAMP SNOWFLAKES ONTO


YOUR DISC Place the snowflake stamp on the Silver discs and hit the top of the stamp using the hammer to create an impression in the metal. Repeat to create a pattern over the discs. You might wish to practise first using a piece of copper sheet or blank.

5: THREAD YOUR SNOWFLAKE INTO


THE JUMP RING Grip either side of a jump ring using pliers and twist to open. Thread your snowflake and largest stamped Silver disc onto the jump ring. Reverse the twisting process to close your jump ring. It’s best to use a jump ring made of thicker wire and ensure the two ends align perfectly so it doesn’t come open. If you are able to, solder the jump ring closed.

3: CENTRE PUNCH YOUR DISC Place the centre punch on your discs and hit the top of it with the hammer to make a mark. Repeat to create a pattern. You can make deeper and lighter marks by varying how hard you hit the stamp with the hammer.


6: THREAD YOUR PENDANT Thread the pendant onto the Sterling Silver chain.
