1: CHOOSE YOUR BEAD I chose to use 18mm Oval Jasper Beads when making this ring. I would recommend choosing a relatively flat bead, 18mm or below. Other great choices for this project would be 10mm Mother Of Pearl Flat Round Beads or 14mm Crazy Lace Agate Oval Beads. Take note of the thread size of your selected bead, as the wire will need to pass through the bead three times. I used 0.4mm round Silver wire. My corresponding beads have a thread size of 1.2mm and 1.6mm and this has worked well for me.

3: LOOP YOUR WIRE Bring the wire around and thread it back through to create the first loop.

2: THREAD YOUR BEAD Thread the bead or beads of your choice onto the wire. Leave yourself around a 60mm ‘tail’ on the shortest end of the wire.
4: CREATE YOUR SECOND LOOP Make the second loop. Don’t worry if this is a little messy at first. This step will require patience and can be fiddly. I used bent nose pliers to line the wire up.
