Technology and expertise Combining the latest gas-saving technology with their vast expertise, our Gastrak® Service team analyses your current welding process and works closely with you to deliver substantial savings and better management of your resources. Working together we can reduce your gas usage typically by 25% however, every welding operation is different, and we have seen savings of up to 65%.

Installation is quick and easy as
the Gastrak® Service equipment can be integrated into an existing or new gas pipeline or used with traditional or Integra® Cylinders.
The Gastrak® Service Audit The service starts with a thorough analysis of your current welding process using independently calibrated equipment. A qualified welding expert from Air Products will identify precisely where you can optimise welding performance and then provide you with a predicted gas consumption saving report which outlines how much you

could potentially save. There is no cost for this service. Once you’ve agreed to the proposals, the team installs Gastrak® Economisers on your welding equipment – there’s no capital investment needed, just a low monthly rental fee. Your gas usage is monitored intensely over the initial two-week period to make sure performance is going to plan, then return visits are planned regularly – at least every 12 months – to make sure your targets are being achieved.
