the middle of the mountains, in the most beautiful places in the Austrian Alps. It’s a good thing that there it’s never far to one of VAYA’s nearly 30 houses. But in addition to their great location, the hotels, resorts and apart- ment buildings offer so much more, including, the legendary VAYA vibes. Whoever stays at VAYA is a guest

of friends. Te atmosphere is relaxed, the design modern. Te public areas, rooms, suites and apartments impress with many natural materials, such as wood and glass. Tasteful details and colourful accents complete the alpine chic. But it’s not only because of the cosy ambience that it’s hard to leave your home base in the morning. You also have to be able to part with the legendary breakfast buffet. It tempts you with fragrant coffee, crispy pastries, an extensive selection of typical local cheese and sausage specialties, cereals, fresh fruit and sweet delicacies. So it’s all too under- standable if you start your ski day a little later. It’s also a good thing that you don’t
have to plan a long journey for your adventure on the slopes. Because without exception, all VAYAs are located near a ski lift or a ski slope. Some are even closer. Tey’re located to allow ski-in, ski-out. So while others are still on the trail, guests of these properties are already there. Perfect ski-in, ski-out can be enjoyed at VAYA Kühtai, VAYA Zell am See and Te Crystal VAYA Unique, for example.
Wellness & winter Te latter, Te Crystal VAYA Unique in Obergurgl, Tyrol, recently under- went a complete renovation where 61 of the total of 97 suites and double rooms were completely redesigned.
eal winter sports fans aren’t satisfied with just any accom- modation. Tey want to live in
the world-renowned brand ESPA and has spacious indoor and outdoor pools and an extensive sauna area. Speaking of saunas, most VAYAs
have a wellness area with a sauna, and many also have pools and addi- tional offerings. For example, at VAYA Zillertal, VAYA Kühtai and Te Crystal VAYA Unique Obergurgl, there are high-quality treatments that provide additional relaxation. One of the many highlights in the VAYA port- folio is also the VAYA Seefeld, which got a new, exclusive penthouse and welcomes its guests with even more amenities starting this season.
As of now, they shine in an even more glamorous design. High-quality mate- rials, such as black metal and leather, selected pieces of furniture and large window fronts transform Te Crystal VAYA Unique into the most modern house of the hotel group. It’s located at 6,560ft, directly at the valley station of the Festkoglbahn. Part of its appeal is the excellent spa. It pampers with soothing, signature treatments from
Safari in the snow Only invented last year, the VAYA Ski Safari is already legendary. Because instead of just going up and down, it also goes across. Participants start their one-week stay at VAYA Zell am See. From there, they go on skis or snowboard to VAYA Post Saalbach and finally on to VAYA Fieberbrunn. More than 250 miles of slopes in the ski area Zell am See-Kaprun, Schmittenhöhe and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn can be skied with the Alpine Card. And it’s avail- able when you book a ski safari. Also included are the use of the
wellness areas, half board and luggage transport between the individual VAYAs, where you spend two to three nights each. At the starting point, the VAYA Zell am See, there’s a ski rental shop and ski school directly in the house. On request, an experienced ski guide (at extra cost) and shorter ski safaris are also available. In January 2023, an additional highlight awaits — from 20-22 January 2023, a yoga retreat with Sandra König will take place at VAYA Kühtai.
