Pet Cabins Increased on Popular Stena Line Irish Sea route


STENA Line has confirmed the enhancement of it’s Belfast to Liverpool route, with the ferry company more than doubling the numbers of pet cabins onboard. It will also introduce a deluxe pet cabin option. Over 13,950 pet owners have taken a trip


on the route throughout 2025, over 900 more compared to the same period in 2024. 75,000 pets has journeyed across the Irish Sea this year with Stena Line in total. The inclusion of the new deluxe pet


cabins taking their offering on the Merseyside-bound route from four cabins to 11 across three different room types. Passengers can choose between a four-


berth room without windows, a four-berth with sea view or a deluxe cabin. Rooms feature a double bed, balcony


access for panoramic sea views, desk area, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and mini fridge with bottled water. They also contain water bowl and pee pads with direct access outside onto the deck.

EASYJET holidays has launched its Summer 2027 season, offering travel agents thousands of hotels to popular sunshine destinations including Dalaman, Cyprus, Hurghada, and Costa Blanca, alongside brilliant summer cities such as Barcelona, Lisbon and Rome. With over 390 routes from the UK, travel dates are available right up to the end of October 2027 for agents to offer their customers. Extra Dublin-Helsinki Frequency Announced


FINNAIR is strengthening its presence in the Irish market this winter, with a boost in service between Dublin and Helsinki. The airline will operate 10 non-stop flights per week on the route during the Winter 2025 season, up from eight weekly flights in Winter 2024,

both leisure and corporate alike, with smooth onward connections to Finnair’s extensive network across Northern Europe and Asia, via its Helsinki hub.


HIGHLY anticipated return of a popular internal island flight could resume as early as spring 2026. City of Derry Airport has confirmed the


return of its Derry/Londonderry to Dublin route, which was withdrawn back in 2011. The news was confirmed by the Irish government who is funding the daily service during its 2026 budget announcement. Official dates are yet to be confirm however, Steve Frazer is anticipating an early return in 2026 he admitted whilst speaking with BBC Radio Foyle. The funding falls within a Public Service Obligation which is used to help fund flights which would not be possible otherwise.
