Permeability/Burst Test and the Fish Scale Test, both of which are detailed in the ICI Handbook. Among his many contributions, he is also recognized for authoring and presenting 9 technical papers and the Shell Training Program for the ICI. Always willing to share his
knowledge of the industry, he worked with industry colleagues to develop their skill sets regardless of company affiliation. Many of today’s industry professionals were mentored by Snow, a number of which attest that they owe their success to him: “Jerry Snow was a stalwart beacon,
broadcasting universally to all without compunction or hesitation of the great benefits of the use of fused silica in precision investment casting. All of us in the industry, not only in the US but now spread worldwide, have benefited beyond measure for his dedication and persistence in spreading that message. He was a mentor to a great many not
only individually, but also in large audiences in the US and Europe. My hat will always be off to him in great respect and personal thanks,” Chris Whitehouse of 3M Technical Ceramics, Inc. stated. "Jerry Snow is the reason I am still in the PIC business. Early in my career, when I was the lone salesperson, he would spend the time walking me through
the process problems my
customers where having which built my knowledge base. I am truly blessed that I work with Jerry closely," James B. Wright of 3M Technical Ceramics, Inc. commented. "I’ve got nothing but fond memories and incredible respect for what he did for me personally and our companies over the years. He and his families will be in our prayers," Cliff Fischer, SeaCast stated.
