EICF Board of Directors Meeting at Brussels

All in all, the review and discussions held, it worked out well, with the corresponding series of actions and decisions taken. Within those, Mrs. Nathalie Kirkham from ICD Europe Ltd was appointed Board member, replacing Mr. Mathew Marsh whose resignation was received last month of September. Nathalie is the Business Development Manager for ICD Europe Ltd., based in Sheffield UK. Nathalie is French, grew up in Paris and did a DEUG de LEA at the Sorbonne and a higher national diploma in International
O Trade.
Nathalie was warmly welcomed by the EICF Chairman looking forward to

EICF Board held a hybrid meeting at their registered

the Santander conference, the
organization aspects associated to the 2023 EICF International Conference to be held in Bregenz (Austria) and the other activities planned for 2023 with the review and approval of the associated budget. Destination for EICF 2024 event was also agreed which is bound to be Napoli in the south of Italy. The Directors had also the opportunity to review the existing challenges in the current geo-political situation in Europe, and how they are affecting the competitiveness to the European IC industries. In particular

the Energy situation was thoroughly reviewed, and some initiatives were analyzed, to be held in conjunction with other European Foundry associations. EICF membership at the end of 2022 is record peak with 113 members which speaks for itself on the importance of the association movement.
