DeSplinter of TPM, Inc. reported that the 2015 Spring Management Meeting was held at Hilton Orlando in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Total attendance was 114. Attendance at the Institute’s 62nd
Annual Technical Meeting and Exhibition in Schaumburg, IL reached a record attendance of 676 attendees for a non- equipment show. The Institute presented fi ve Intern
Scholarships to students at the ICI Technical Conference in October.
The
Institute will once again award several scholarships in 2016. The Institute held its annual casting contest (in conjunction with The 62nd Annual Technical Conference & Expo). Winning entries were selected in Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, International,
Industrial and Fine Art,
Defense market segments. The Institute continues to promote
the industry through various exhibitions. In 2015, the Institute exhibited at Pacifi c Design & Manufacturing in Anaheim, CA and Design & Manufacturing Canada in Toronto Ontario Canada. Business leads generated by this activity were circulated to Regular Members for follow up. On June 14-16, the Institute will exhibit at the Atlantic Design & Manufacturing trade show at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Dues for membership were not increased for 2016 and have not increased since 2014. Seven new members were admitted into the Institute during the past year; fi ve resigned, and there was one affi liate closure and 1 regular Member consolidation. The Board elected to re-appoint

At the end of 2015, new board
members Julie Markee of Key Process Innovations, Russell Gallagher of Bescast, Inc. were elected and Cliff Fischer of Wisconsin Precision was re-elected. Tina Joseff of Joseff-Hollywood and Dr. Russ Rosmait of Pittsburg State University retired by rotation. Rosmait will continue to be the academic advisor the Board. The Institute wishes to thank
Ms. Joseff and Dr. Rosmait for their participation on the Board of Directors. The Institute gratefully acknowledges the contributions of Member companies
