What were your first impressions of Barbados? It’s so beautiful, with picture-perfect turquoise sea and white beaches. I didn’t realise it was so small and easy to get around.

What were the activities and entertainment like? We had a day out on a catamaran, which was amazing, not least for the chance to swim with turtles and colourful fish. But the most memorable thing about the trip was Oistins fish fry on Friday night for its great food, atmosphere and entertainment.

How would you sum up the destination to clients considering a Caribbean holiday? It’s stunning, there’s loads to do and it’s so much fun!

What were your initial impressions of the island? I had briefly seen Barbados once before when joining a cruise ship, but was surprised at how green the island is and just how much there is to do away from the beaches.

What was the atmosphere like? I thought Barbados offered a good beach holiday vibe with great evening entertainment options, and excursions and activities that highlight everything the island had to offer. On the Harrison’s Cave trip and the Cool Runnings catamaran excursion, the staff were very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, as well as safety-conscious. I thought they offered good value for money, too. Watching the horses being exercised at Pebbles Beach and Harbour Lights was also very special.
