(FIBA) 3x3 World Tour came to Bahrain for the first time in November and took place
sport, partly to encourage its youthful population to become more active, but also to establish the country as a major player on the global stage. For example, the ISF Gymnasiade 2024 is
a major international multi-sport event for school students, aged 15-18. It is scheduled to take place in Bahrain in October 2024 and is expected to attract over 5,000 participants from more than 80 countries. The event will feature 25 sports, including athletics, swimming, dancing and chess. Bahrain’s national football team is ranked
among the top teams in Asia, and young fans are increasingly flocking to cheer on their local teams.

The meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions sector is one that’s growing, and Bahrain is ready to host those travelling for this purpose. Exhibition World Bahrain is one of the Middle East’s largest and newest exhibition and convention centres. It’s located in Sakhir, adjacent to the Bahrain International Circuit, featuring 95,000 square metres of exhibition space spread over 10 halls. There’s a 4,000-seat tiered auditorium, 95 meeting rooms, Royal & VIP Majlis (sitting rooms) and a 250-seat restaurant.
